Nursing Value of Focus Recording Method in Mechanical Ventilation for NRDS
Objective To explore the nursing value of focus recording method in mechanical ventilation for neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS).Methods 120 neonates with NRDS admitted to our hospital from March 2019 to March 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with 60 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the observation group received nursing intervention of focus recording method. The blood gas indicators, mechanical ventilation time, hospitalization time and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention,SpO2 and PaO2 in the two groups increased significantly, and PaCO2 decreased significantly;SpO2 and PaO2 in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and PaCO2 was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the mechanical ventilation time and hospitalization time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.33%,significantly lower than 15.00%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The application of focus recording method in mechanical ventilation for NRDS can improve the blood gas indicators of neonates, shorten the mechanical ventilation time and hospitalization time, and reduce the occurrence of complications related to mechanical ventilation.
