Expressions of Serum E2,FSH and P in Patients with Uterine Fibroids and Their Relationships with Clinical Features
Objective To explore the expressions of serum E2,FSH and P in patients with uterine fibroids and their relationships with clinical features. Methods 60 patients with uterine fibroids were selected as the uterine fibroids group and 60 healthy women were selected as the control group. The levels of serum E2,FSH and P were compared between the two groups. The risk factors for the occurrence of uterine fibroids were analyzed, and the relationships of serum E2,FSH and P levels with clinical characteristics of patients with uterine fibroids were discussed. Results The levels of serum E2,FSH and P in the uterine fibroids group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that E2,FSH and P were independent risk factors for the occurrence of uterine fibroids(OR>1,P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in serum E2,FSH and P levels among patients with uterine fibroids of different fibroid types and different fibroid diameters(P<0.05).Conclusions The levels of serum E2,FSH and P in patients with uterine fibroids are higher than those in healthy women.E2,FSH and P are independent risk factors for the occurrence of uterine fibroids. The detection of serum E2,FSH and P levels can be used to evaluate the type and disease severity of uterine fibroids.
