Analysis on the Impact and Predictive Value of Preoperative Inflammatory Factor Expression on Recurrence after Laparo-scopic Repair in Patients with Inguinal Hernia
Objective To analyze the impact and predictive value of preoperative inflammatory factor expression on recurrence after laparoscopic repair in patients with inguinal hernia. Methods 62 patients with inguinal hernia undergoing laparoscopic hernia repair in our hospital from May 2019 to July 2022 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into recurrence group(n=8)and non-recurrence group(n=54)according to recurrence during the 3-month postoperative follow-up.The preoperative serum inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups, and the impact and predictive value of related indicators on postoperative recurrence were analyzed. Results Before operation,no statistical difference was found in the serum TNF-α and IL-17 levels between the two groups(P>0.05);The serum IL-6 and hs-CRP levels of the recurrence group were higher than those of the non-recurrence group(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that preoperative serum IL-6 and hs-CRP levels were the influencing factors of recurrence after laparoscopic repair in patients with inguinal hernia(OR>1,P<0.05).ROC curve results showed that the AUC of combined prediction of preoperative serum IL-6 and hs-CRP for postoperative recurrence was 0.822,higher than 0.730 and 0.792 alone(P<0.05).Conclusions Preoperative serum IL-6 and hs-CRP expression are the influencing factors of recurrence after laparoscopic repair in patients with inguinal hernia, and the combined detection has certain predictive value for postoperative recurrence.
