Impact of Different Statin Lipid-Lowering Drugs on the Incidence of Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events after Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting in Elderly Patients with Coronary Heart Disease
Objective To analyze the impact of different statin lipid-lowering drugs on the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)after coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG)in elderly patients with coronary heart disease. Methods 92 elderly patients with coronary heart disease undergoing CABG in our hospital from October 2021 to October 2022 were selected and divided into simvastatin group(44 cases)and atorvastatin group(48 cases)according to different statin lipid-lowering drugs after surgery. The blood lipid levels, incidence of MACE and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the serum TC and TG levels in the two groups decreased(P<0.05),but no statistical difference was found between the two groups(P>0.05).No statistical difference was found in the incidences of MACE and adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Both simvastatin and atorvastatin can significantly reduce the blood lipid levels in elderly patients with coronary heart disease after CABG,and have the similar effect in terms of preventing MACE and drug safety.
