Observation on the Effect of Latanoprost Combined with Brinzolamide in the Treatment of Glaucoma
Objective To observe the clinical effect of latanoprost combined with brinzolamide in the treatment of glaucoma.Methods 122 patients with monocular onset glaucoma admitted to our hospital from February 2021 to January 2022 were selected and randomly divided into control group(n=61)and observation group(n=61).The control group was treated with brinzolamide eye drops,and the observation group was treated with latanoprost eye drops on the basis of the control group.The treatment effect,visual acuity,intraocular pressure and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.44％,significantly higher than 80.33％in the control group(P＜0.05).Before treatment,no statistical difference was found in the visual acuity and intraocular pressure between the two groups(P＞0.05);After treatment,the visual acuity and intraocular pressure of the two groups improved,and the visual acuity and intraocular pressure of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(P＜0.05).During the treatment,no statistical difference was found in the incidence of adverse reactions(16.39％vs.13.11％)between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusions Latanoprost combined with brinzolamide has significant effect in the treatment of glaucoma,can significantly improve patients'intraocular pressure and visual acuity,and is safe and reliable,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
