Clinical Effect of Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization Combined with Apatinib in the Treatment of Recurrent Liver Cancer
Objective To explore the clinical effect of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)combined with apatinib in the treatment of recurrent liver cancer. Methods 90 patients with recurrent liver cancer admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into observation group(n=45)and control group(n=45).The control group was treated with TACE,and the observation group was treated with TACE combined with apatinib. The treatment effect, serum tumor markers(AFP,VEGF,MMP-9)and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 60.00%,higher than 37.78%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the VEGF,MMP-9 and AFP levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).During the treatment, the incidences of hypertension and hand-foot syndrome in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions TACE combined with apatinib has better effect in the treatment of recurrent liver cancer, which can significantly reduce the serum AFP,VEGF and MMP-9 levels, but may increase the risk of hypertension and hand-foot syndrome.
