Study on the Diagnostic Value of Combined Detection of Sputum Culture,C-Reactive Protein and Procalcitonin in Acute Bronchitis
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of combined detection of sputum culture,C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)in acute bronchitis. Methods 96 patients with acute bronchitis were selected as observation group, while 96 healthy people with physical examination in our hospital were selected as control group. Both groups received sputum culture,CRP and PCT detection. The diagnostic efficacy of single and combined detection for acute bronchitis was compared. Results The CRP and PCT of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).κ test analysis showed that combined detection had high consistency with clinical diagnostic results(κ=0.823,P<0.05).The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of combined detection of sputum culture,CRP and PCT in the diagnosis of acute bronchitis were higher than those of the single detection(P<0.05).Conclusions During the onset of acute bronchitis, the levels of serum inflammatory factors can significantly increase. While detecting CRP and PCT levels in patients, combining sputum culture results can provide effective diagnostic data for the clinical diagnosis and improve diagnostic accuracy.
