Value of Resistance Training Combined with Staged Health Education in Preventing Lymphedema after Breast Cancer Surgery
Objective To explore the value of resistance training combined with staged health education in preventing lymphedema after breast cancer surgery. Methods 104 patients with breast cancer admitted to our hospital from July 2021 to June 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups. The control group received routine intervention, and the observation group received resistance training combined with staged health education. The incidence of lymphedema after surgery and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of lymphedema after surgery in the observation group was 13.46%,lower than 34.62%in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of physiology, social family, function, emotion and addition in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Resistance training combined with staged health education can reduce the incidence of lymphedema after breast cancer surgery, and improve the quality of life of patients.
