Comparison on the Clinical Effects of High Power Focused Ultrasound and Radiofrequency Ablation in the Treatment of U-terine Fibroids
Objective To compare the clinical effects of high power focused ultrasound and radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of uterine fibroids. Methods 60 patients with uterine fibroids were randomly divided into two groups. The focused ultrasound group was treated with high power focused ultrasound, and the radiofrequency ablation group was treated with radiofrequency ablation. The therapeutic effect and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate in the radiofrequency ablation group was higher than that in the focused ultrasound group, the dysmenorrhea score was lower than that in the focused ultrasound group, the menstrual volume was less than that in the focused ultrasound group, and the volume of uterine fibroids was smaller than that in the focused ultrasound group(P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Compared with high power focused ultrasound, radiofrequency ablation is more effective in the treatment of uterine fibroids, which can significantly improve the degree of dysmenorrhea, reduce menstrual volume, reduce the volume of uterine fibroids, and do not significantly increase the occurrence of adverse reactions.
