Impact of Electronic Bronchoscope Alveolar Lavage Assisted Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation Therapy on Pul-monary Function and Blood Gas Indicators of Elderly Patients with COPD Complicated with Respiratory Failure
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of electronic bronchoscope alveolar lavage assisted non-invasive positive pressure ventilation(NPPV)in the treatment of elderly COPD complicated with respiratory failure. Methods 136 elderly patients with COPD complicated with respiratory failure were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with NPPV,and the observation group was treated with electronic bronchoscope alveolar lavage assisted NPPV.The pulmonary function and blood gas indicators were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of FVC,FEV1,FEVi/FVC,PaO2 and SaO2 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the level of PaCO2 was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Electronic bronchoscope alveolar lavage assisted NPPV can improve the pulmonary function and arterial blood gas indicators of elderly patients with COPD complicated with respiratory failure.
