Comparison on the Application Effects of Nasojejunal Tube and Nasogastric Tube for Enteral Nutrition Support in Emer-gency ICU Patients with Mechanical Ventilation
Objective To compare the application effects of nasojejunal tube and nasogastric tube for enteral nutrition support in emergency ICU patients with mechanical ventilation. Methods 70 cases of emergency ICU patients with mechanical ventilation were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was given enteral nutrition support by indwelling nasogastric tube, and the observation group was given enteral nutrition support by indwelling nasojejunal tube. The nutritional status and complication were compared between the two groups. Results The time required to reach the target feeding amount in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of HB,PAB and ALB in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of gastrointestinal complications in the observation group was 5.71%,lower than 28.57%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with nasogastric tube for enteral nutrition support, nasojejunal tube for enteral nutrition support can improve the nutritional status of emergency ICU patients with mechanical ventilation quickly and reduce the occurrence of gastrointestinal complications.
