Analysis on the Influencing Factors of Postoperative Ventilator Weaning Failure in Children with Congenital Heart Disease in Intensive Care Unit
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of postoperative ventilator weaning failure in children with congenital heart disease in intensive care unit(ICU).Methods The clinical data of 128 ICU children with congenital heart disease surgery from January 2022 to January 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The occurrence of postoperative ventilator weaning failure was recorded.Univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were used to explore the influencing factors of ventilator weaning failure. Results The incidence of ventilator weaning failure in 128 children was 18.75%.Univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that high preoperative modified Ross score, airway malformation, mechanical ventilation time>7 days before weaning, and long CPB time were the influencing factors of postoperative ventilator weaning failure(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusions ICU children with congenital heart disease have the risk of ventilator weaning failure after surgery. The failure of ventilator weaning is related to the children's high preoperative modified Ross score, airway malformation, mechanical ventilation time>7 days before weaning and long CPB time.
