Serum PCT and IFN-γ Levels in Patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Their Relationship with Prognosis
Objective To explore the serum procalcitonin(PCT)and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)levels in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and their relationship with prognosis. Methods According to the prognosis,300 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis were divided into good prognosis group and poor prognosis group. The clinical data of the two groups were compared, the independent influencing factors of prognosis were discussed, and the value of serum PCT and IFN-γ in the diagnosis of poor prognosis of pulmonary tuberculosis was analyzed. Results Pulmonary infection, pulmonary heart disease, organ damage,PCT and IFN-γ were independent influencing factors of poor prognosis in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis(P<0.05).The AUC of combined detection of PCT and IFN-γ in the diagnosis of poor prognosis of pulmonary tuberculosis was higher than that of single detection of PCT and IFN-γ(P<0.05).Conclusions Serum PCT and IFN-γ are independent influencing factors of poor prognosis in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.Detection of the levels of PCT and IFN-γ is helpful for early evaluation of patients'prognosis.
