Clinical Application Effect of Cone Beam CT Combined with Ultrasonic Bone Knife Minimally Invasive Method in the Ex-traction of Maxillary Embedded Supernumerary Teeth
Objective To explore the clinical application effect of cone beam CT combined with ultrasonic bone knife minimally invasive method in the extraction of maxillary embedded supernumerary teeth. Methods 60 cases of patients with maxillary embedded supernumerary teeth were randomly divided into two groups, with 30 cases in each group. The control group used traditional method for tooth extraction, and the observation group used cone beam CT combined with ultrasonic bone knife minimally invasive method for tooth extraction. The alveolar integrity, immediate postoperative pain, mouth opening limit and tooth aesthetics were compared between the two groups. Results The alveolar integrity score, immediate postoperative VAS score, moderate and severe proportion of mouth opening limit in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the proportion of mouth opening limit 0 degree and tooth aesthetics score were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Cone beam CT combined with ultrasonic bone knife minimally invasive method has significant application effect in the extraction of maxillary embedded supernumerary teeth, which can significantly reduce the postoperative pain degree of patients, improve the mouth opening limit, alveolar integrity and tooth aesthetics.
