Analysis on the Effect and Adverse Reactions of Oral Levocetirizine Hydrochloride Tablets and External Fluticasone Propi-onate Cream in the Treatment of Chronic Eczema
Objective To explore the effect and adverse reactions of oral levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets and external fluticasone propionate cream in the treatment of chronic eczema.Methods 160 patients with chronic eczema admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups equally.The control group was given oral levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets,while the observation group was given external fluticasone propionate cream on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,disappearance time of clinical symptoms,skin lesions,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The disappearance time of pain,hypertrophy,scales,and erythema in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the score of skin lesion symptoms and skin lesion area in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).No statistical difference was found in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusions Oral levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets and external fluticasone propionate cream in the treatment of chronic eczema can significantly improve the clinical efficacy,accelerate the disappearance of clinical symptoms,and improve the skin lesions,with higher safety,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
