Impact of Levothyroxine Sodium on Thyroid Function and Delivery Outcomes in Pregnancy Patients with Hypothyroidism
Objective To explore the impact of levothyroxine sodium on thyroid function and delivery outcomes in pregnancy patients with hypothyroidism. Methods 220 pregnancy patients with hypothyroidism admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were rsndomly divided into two groups, with 110 cases in each group. The control group was given daily life guidance, while the study group was treated with levothyroxine sodium on the basis of the control group. The thyroid function indicators, positive rates of anti thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPOAb)and anti thyroid globulin antibody(TGAb),incidence of adverse delivery outcomes, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the TSH level of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the FT3 and FT4 levels were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the positive rates of TPOAb and TGAb in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse delivery outcomes in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Both groups did not have serious adverse reactions. Conclusions Leftothyroxine sodium can effectively improve the thyroid function and avoid the adverse delivery outcomes in pregnancy patients with hypothyroidism, with higher safety.
