Effect of Sodium Valproate Combined with Lamotrigine in the Treatment of Epilepsy and Its Impact on EEG of Patients
Objective To explore the effect of sodium valproate combined with lamotrigine in the treatment of epilepsy. Methods 90 patients with epilepsy were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with sodium valproate, and the study group was treated with sodium valproate combined with lamotrigine. The efficacy,EEG frequency and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the frequencies of δand θ were lower than those of the control group, and the frequencies of α and β were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Sodium valproate combined with lamotrigine in the treatment of epilepsy has significant effect and high safety, and can improve the EEG frequency of patients.
