Clinical Effect of Balloon Dilatation Angioplasty Combined with Stent Implantation in the Treatment of Elderly Patients with Lower Extremity Arteriosclerosis Obliterans
Objective To explore the clinical effect of balloon dilatation angioplasty combined with stent implantation in the treatment of elderly lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans. Methods 80 elderly patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received drug conservative therapy, and the observation group was treated with balloon dilatation angioplasty combined with stent implantation. The therapeutic effect, ankle brachial index(ABI)and intermittent claudication distance were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.50%,higher than 80.00%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the ABI in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the intermittent claudication distance was longer than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Balloon dilatation angioplasty combined with stent implantation in the treatment of elderly lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans has significant clinical effect, which can improve the blood supply of lower limbs and prolong the intermittent claudication distance of patients.
