Impact of Sandplay Combined with Task-Oriented Training on Mental Development and Gross Motor Function of Children with Cerebral Palsy
Objective To explore the impact of sandplay combined with task-oriented training on mental development and gross motor function of children with cerebral palsy. Methods 88 children with cerebral palsy were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received routine rehabilitation intervention, and the observation group received sandplay combined with task-oriented training intervention on the basis of the control group. The mental development and gross motor function were compared between the two groups. Results After 2 months of intervention, the PDI score and MDI score, and the dimension scores and total score of GMFM-88 of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Sandplay combined with task-oriented training can significantly improve the mental development level and improve the gross motor function of children with cerebral palsy.
