Clinical Effect of Pefloxacin Combined with Minocycline Hydrochloride in the Treatment of Chronic Periodontitis and Its Impact on Periodontal Inflammatory Reaction of Patients
Objective To analyze the effect of pefloxacin combined with minocycline hydrochloride in the treatment of chronic periodontitis(CP).Methods 86 patients with CP were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with minocycline hydrochloride, and the observation group was treated with pefloxacin on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, periodontal inflammatory reaction and periodontal health status were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the levels of TNF-α,hs-CRP and IL-1β,and SBI,PLI,GI and PD were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Pefloxacin combined with minocycline hydrochloride can improve the therapeutic effect of CP,reduce periodontal inflammation reaction and improve periodontal health degree.
