Application of Concentrated Growth Factor in the Treatment of Alveolar Socket After Complex Tooth Extraction
Objective To explore the application effect of concentrated growth factor(CGF)in the treatment of alveolar socket after complex tooth extraction. Methods A total of 90 patients with complex tooth extraction were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group used CGF to treat the alveolar socket, and the control group received conventional alveolar socket treatment. The width and height of alveolar ridge, and the bone mass of alveolar ridge were compared between the two groups. Results At 30 d and 90 d after surgery, the width and height of alveolar ridge in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at the same period(P<0.05).At 90 d after surgery,REC in both groups increased, and REC in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The application of CGF in the treatment of alveolar socket after complex tooth extraction can effectively maintain the height and width of alveolar ridge, and prevent alveolar bone resorption after tooth extraction.
