Objective To explore the clinical effect of key link nursing model applied in root canal therapy of patients with chronic periapical periodontitis. Methods 94 patients with chronic periapical periodontitis who received root canal therapy were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received key link nursing model. The anxiety symptom, pain degree and complication were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the SAS score and NRS score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications of the observation group was 6.38%,lower than 21.28%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Key link nursing model is beneficial to reduce the anxiety symptom and pain degree of patients with chronic periapical periodontitis who received root canal therapy, and reduce the occurrence risk of complications.
