Value of Multi-Sequence MRI Combined with CT Multi-Plane Reconstruction in the Diagnosis of Lumbar Compression Fractures
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of multi-sequence MRI combined with CT multi-plane reconstruction in the diagnosis of lumbar compression fractures. Methods 124 patients with suspected lumbar compression fractures admitted to our hospital from October 2019 to October 2023 were selected and given multi-sequence MRI and CT multi-plane reconstruction.Based on the results of clinical comprehensive diagnosis, the consistency analysis was used to compare the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of multi-sequence MRI,CT multi-plane reconstruction, and combined detection in the diagnosis of lumbar compression fractures. Results Among 124 patients,99 cases were confirmed as positive and 25 cases as negative for lumbar compression fractures through clinical comprehensive diagnosis. The diagnostic results of multi-sequence MRI or CT multi-plane reconstruction had higher consistency with the clinical comprehensive diagnostic results(κ=0.847,0.826,P<0.001);The diagnostic results of multi-sequence MRI combined with CT multi-plane reconstruction had almost complete consistenty with the clinical comprehensive diagnostic results(κ=0.977,P<0.001).The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of multi-sequence MRI combined with CT multi-plane reconstruction were significantly higher than those of single multi-sequence MRI or CT multi-plane reconstruction(P<0.05).Conclusions Multi-sequence MRI combined with CT multi-plane reconstruction has better effect in the diagnosis of lumbar compression fractures than single multi-sequence MRI or CT multi-plane reconstruction, with high application value.
