Impact of Patelloplasty and Patellar Replacement in the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis during Knee Arthroplasty on Patients'Knee Joint and Patella Function
Objective To compare the impact of patellaplasty and patellar replacement in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis during knee arthroplasty on patients'knee joint and patellar function. Methods 100 patients with knee osteoarthritis admitted to our hospital from March 2020 to April 2022 were selected and randomly divided into patellaplasty group(50 cases, patellaplasty)and arthroplasty group(50 cases, patellar replacement). The knee joint function, patellar function and postoperative complications of the two groups were compared. Results 6 months,9 months, and 12 months after surgery, the KSS knee joint function scores of the arthroplasty group were higher than those of the patellaplasty group(P<0.05).9 months and 12 months after surgery, the Feller patellar function scores of the arthroplasty group were higher than those of the patellaplasty group(P<0.05).No statistical difference was found in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Compared with patellaplasty, patellar replacement has better effect in knee arthroplasty, which can promote the recovery of knee joint and patellar function in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
