Comparison on the Application Effects of B-Lynch Suture and Modified Hwu Suture in Cesarean Section for Placenta Previa
Objective To compare the application effects of B-Lynch suture and modified Hwu suture in cesarean section for placenta previa. Methods 60 puerperae with placenta praevia undergoing cesarean section were divided into B-Lynch group(n=30)and Hwu group(n=30)according to different uterine suture techniques. The B-Lynch group used with B-Lynch suture for hemostasis, and the Hwu group used modified Hwu suture for hemostasis. The operation related indicators, prognosis and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time and hemostasis time of the Hwu group were shorter than those of the B-Lynch group, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the B-Lynch group(P<0.05).The lochia duration, the recovery time of first menstruation, and menstrual cycle of the Hwu group were shorter than those of the B-Lynch group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the Hwu group was 6.67%,which had no statistical difference with 13.33%in the B-Lynch group(P>0.05).Conclusions Compared with B-Lynch suture, modified Hwu suture has better application effect in cesarean section of placenta previa, which can significantly shorten the operation time and hemostasis time, reduce the intraoperative blood loss, and promote the recovery of maternal prognosis.
