Impact of Nursing Intervention Based on Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skill Model on Negative Emotions and In-traocular Pressure Level in Glaucoma Patients
Objective To explore the impact of nursing intervention based on information-motivation-behavioral skill(IMB)model on negative emotions and intraocular pressure level in glaucoma patients. Methods 118 glaucoma patients admitted to our hospital were selected and divided into control group(n=59)and study group(n=59)according to different nursing intervention methods. The reference group was given routine nursing intervention, and the study group was given nursing intervention based on IMB model on the basis of the reference group. The negative emotions and intraocular pressure levels were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the SAS,SDS scores and intraocular pressure levels of the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and the SAS,SDS scores and intraocular pressure level of the study group were lower than those of the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusions Nursing intervention based on IMB model can significantly alleviate the negative emotions of glaucoma patients and reduce the intraocular pressure level, which is worthy of promotion and application.
