Value of Multi-Mode Ultrasound Combined Examination in the Diagnosis of Acute Appendicitis
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of combined examination of high frequency ultrasound and low frequency ultrasound for acute appendicitis. Methods 100 patients with suspected acute appendicitis were examined by high frequency ultrasound and low frequency ultrasound. The value of high frequency ultrasound, low frequency ultrasound and their combination in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis and the identification of acute appendicitis types were analyzed, and the ultrasonic characteristics of different types of acute appendicitis were recorded. Results The sensitivity and accuracy of combined ultrasound in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis were higher than those of high frequency ultrasound and low frequency ultrasound(P<0.05),and the specificity of combined ultrasound in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis was higher than that of low frequency ultrasound(P<0.05).The coincidence rate of combined ultrasound in the identification of acute appendicitis types was higher than that of low frequency ultrasound and high frequency ultrasound(P<0.05).Conclusions Both low frequency ultrasound and high frequency ultrasound have high value in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis, and the combination of the two can improve the accuracy of diagnosis and identification of disease types.
