Clinical Study of Orthodontic Therapy Combined with Oral Repair in the Treatment of Patients with Congenital Missing Teeth
Objective To explore the clinical effect of orthodontic therapy combined with oral repair in the treatment of patients with congenital missing teeth. Methods 62 patients with congenital missing teeth admitted to our hospital from December 2020 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups. The reference group was treated with oral repair, and the combined group was treated with orthodontic therapy+oral repair. The clinical efficacy, negative emotions, pronunciation function and oral function were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the combined group was 96.77%,significantly higher than 74.19%in the reference group(P<0.05).One month after treatment, the SAS score and SDS score in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the reference group, and the pronunciation function score and oral function score were significantly higher than those in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusions Orthodontic therapy combined with oral repair can effectively alleviate the negative emotions of patients with congenital missing teeth, improve patients'pronunciation function and oral function, and has significant treatment effect.
