Anesthetic Effect and Safety of Remifentanil in Perioperative Period of Children with Tonsillar Gland Hypertrophy
Objective To compare the anesthetic effects and safety of remifentanil and esketamine applied in perioperative period of children with tonsillar gland hypertrophy. Methods 80 children with tonsillar gland hypertrophy were randomly divided into two groups. The control group used esketamine and propofol for anesthesia maintenance, and the observation group used remifentanil and propofol for anesthesia maintenance. The anesthetic effect, anesthesia recovery time and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of anesthesia in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the time of extubation after anesthesia, the time of eye-opening after anesthesia and the time of staying in the resuscitation room were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the total incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Remifentanil combined with propofol applied in children with tonsillar gland hypertrophy can strengthen the anesthetic effect during surgery, shorten the recovery time and extubation time, and reduce the risk of postoperative adverse reactions.
