Comparison on the Effects and Safety Between Modified Sequential Therapy and Traditional Triple Therapy in the Treat-ment of Patients with Helicobacter Pylori Infection
Objective To compare the effects and safety between modified sequential therapy and traditional triple therapy in the treatment of patients with Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection. Methods 60 patients with Hp infection were randomly divided into two groups. The traditional group was treated with traditional triple therapy, and the modified sequential group was treated with modified sequential therapy. The efficacy,Hp eradication rate and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment and Hp eradication rate of the modified sequential group were significantly higher than those of the traditional group, and the total incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than that of the traditional group(P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with traditional triple therapy, modified sequential therapy is more effective and safer in the treatment of patients with Hp infection.
