Comparison on the Application Effects of Different Vascular Pathways in Elderly Patients with Maintenance Hemodialysis
Objective To compare the application effects of different vascular pathways in elderly patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Methods 88 elderly patients with maintenance hemodialysis admitted to our hospital from April 2021 to May 2023 were selected and divided into the dialysis catheter group and the arteriovenous fistula group according to different dialysis vascular pathways. The calcium and phosphorus metabolism, serum inflammatory factors and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After dialysis, the levels of serum phosphorus and calcium in the arteriovenous fistula group were significantly lower than those in the dialysis catheter group, and the levels of serum β2-MG and IL-6 were significantly lower than those in the dialysis catheter group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the arteriovenous fistula group was significantly lower than that in the dialysis catheter group(P<0.05).Conclusions Arteriovenous fistula has good effect as a dialysis vascular pathway, which can improve the calcium and phosphorus metabolism of elderly patients with maintenance hemodialysis, relieve the inflammatory reaction and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions.
