Efficacy of Low-Frequency Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Preschool Mild-Moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder
Objective To explore the effect of low-frequency transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with rehabilitation training in the treatment of preschool children with mild-moderate autism spectrum disorder. Methods 82 preschool children with mild-moderate autism spectrum disorder were randomly divided into combined group and control group, with 41 cases in each group. The neuro-related factors and clinical symptoms were compared between the two groups. Results After 8 weeks of treatment, the serum BDNF and GSH levels of the two groups increased, and the serum BDNF and GSH levels of the combined group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, the serum 5-HT levels, and the scores of sensory function, communication ability, physical movement, language and self-care ability in the two groups decreased, and the serum 5-HT level, and the scores of sensory function, communication ability, physical movement, language and self-care ability in the combined group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Low-frequency transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with rehabilitation training can regulate the serum BDNF,GSH,5-HT levels, improve the secretion of neurorelated factors and control the clinical symptoms.
