Diagnostic Value of Magnetic Resonance DWI Signal Intensity Value and ADC Value for Postoperative Recurrence of Rectal Cancer Patients
Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance diffusion weighted imaging(DWI)signal intensity value and apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)value for postoperative recurrence of rectal cancer patients. Methods 90 rectal cancer patients undergoing radical surgery admitted to our hospital from August 2019 to August 2022 were selected and given magnetic resonance DWI examination at 1 month,3 months and 6 months after surgery. The local recurrence during follow-up at 6 months after surgery was counted, and the DWI signal intensity value and ADC value of recurrence group and non-recurrence group were compared. The diagnostic value of DWI signal intensity value and ADC value for postoperative recurrence of rectal cancer patients was analyzed. Results Among 90 rectal cancer patients,28 cases(31.11%)had local recurrence during follow-up at 6 months after surgery. The DWI signal intensity value of the recurrence group was higher than that of the non-recurrence group, and the ADC value was lower than that of the non-recurrence group(P<0.05).ROC curve results showed that the AUC of the DWI signal intensity value combined with ADC value in the diagnosis of postoperative recurrence of rectal cancer patients was 0.885(P<0.001),95%CI was 0.812-0.959,sensitivity was 0.821,specificity was 0.855,and Youden index was 0.676.Conclusions Magnetic resonance DWI signal intensity value and ADC value are of high value in the diagnosis of postoperative recurrence of rectal cancer patients, which is worthy of clinical promption and application.
