Effect of Phacoemulsification Cataract Aspiration Combined with Sodium Hyaluronate in the Treatment of Hard Nuclear Cataract
Objective To explore the effect of phacoemulsification cataract aspiration combined with sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of hard nuclear cataract. Methods 120 patients with hard nuclear cataract admitted to our hospital from November 2021 to November 2023 were divided into two groups according to the drawing method. The control group was treated with phacoemulsification cataract aspiration, and the observation group was treated with sodium hyaluronate based on the control group. The tear film function, dry eye symptom score and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups. Results After surgery, the SIT and BUT of the two groups increased, and the FL scores decreased(P<0.05);The SIT and BUT of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the FL score was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After surgery, the dry eye scores of the two groups decreased, and the dry eye score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After surgery, the IL-6 levels of the two groups decreased, and IL-6 level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Phacoemulsification cataract aspiration combined with sodium hyaluronate can improve the tear film stability and dry eye symptoms after hard nuclear cataract surgery, which may be related to inhibiting the expression of lacrimal inflammatory factors.
