Impact of Glucocorticoid Combined with Endoscopic Nasal Surgery on Clinical Symptoms and Levels of Inflammatory Indicators in Patients with Chronic Sinusitis
Objective To explore the impact of glucocorticoid combined with endoscopic nasal surgery on clinical symptoms and levels of inflammatory indicators in patients with chronic sinusitis. Methods 92 patients with chronic sinusitis were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group was treated with glucocorticoid combined with endoscopic surgery, and the control group was treated with endoscopic surgery. The treatment effect, nasal mucus cilia clearance function, and inflammatory indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the removal time of saccharin in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the clearance rate and clearance speed of mucocilia were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the PCT,CRP and IL-6 levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Glucocorticoids combined with nasal endoscopic surgery in the treatment of patients with chronic sinusitis has significant clinical effect, and can shorten the disease resolution time, improve the nasal function, and alleviate the body inflammatory response, which is worthy of promotion and application.
