Impact of Panax Notoginseng Saponins on Proliferation of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells
Objective To explore the impact of panax notoginseng saponins(PNS)on proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).Methods HUVECs were cultured in vitro and divided into blank control group,PNS low concentration group(10 mg/L)and PNS high concentration group(50 mg/L).Each group was given corresponding concentration of drug intervention, and the proliferation rate of HUVECs was detected by MTT assay. Results The proliferation rates of HUVECs in the PNS low concentration group and PNS high concentration group were higher than those of the blank control group(P<0.05).Conclusions PNS can promote the proliferation of HUVECs,and promote the formation of vascular lumen, which exerts positive effect on endothelial cells and plays a vital role in maintaining blood vessel health and function.
