Observation on the Diagnostic Efficacy of Combined Detection of Serum CA199,CEA and AFP in Gastric Cancer
Objective To analyze the diagnostic efficacy of combined detection of serum carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),and alpha fetoprotein(AFP)in gastric cancer. Methods 116 suspected gastric cancer patients admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected, and the serum CA199,CEA and AFP were detected. The diagnostic efficacy of combined detection of serum CA199,CEA and AFP for gastric cancer was analyzed. Results The histopathological examination results showed that 67 cases of gastric cancer,33 cases of chronic gastritis, and 16 cases of gastric ulcers among 116 patients. The accuracy, sensitivity, and negative predictive value of combined detection of serum CA199,CEA and AFP were higher than those of single detection of serum CA199,CEA,and AFP(P<0.05).κ consistency test suggested that the combined detection of serum CA199,CEA and AFP had excellent consistency in the diagnosis of gastric cancer(κ=0.803,P<0.05).Conclusions The combined detection of serum CA199,CEA and AFP has higher diagnostic efficacy for gastric cancer.
