Clinical Effect of Wenfei Tongqiao Recipe Combined with Western Medicine in the Treatment of Children with Combined Allergic Rhinitis and Asthma Syndrome and the Impact on the Serum Th1/Th2 Cytokine Expression
Objective To explore the clinical effect of Wenfei Tongqiao Recipe combined with western medicine in the treatment of children with combined allergic rhinitis and asthma syndrome(CARAS)and the impact on the serum Th1/Th2 cytokines expression.Methods 80 CARAS children were randomly divided into reference group and study group,with 40 cases in each group.The reference group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the study group was treated with Wenfei Tongqiao Recipe combined with western medicine.The clinical efficacy,serum Thl/Th2 cytokine levels,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.00％,higher than 80.00％in the reference group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the serum IL-2 and IFN-y levels of the study group were higher than those of the reference group,and the IL-4 and IL-6 levels were lower than those of the reference group(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 12.50％,which had no statistical difference with 10.00％in the reference group(P＞0.05).Conclusions Wenfei Tongqiao Recipe combined with western medicine has significant effect in the treatment of CARAS,which can significantly regulate the expression of serum Th1/Th2 cytokines in children,and is safe and reliable.
