Expression and Clinical Significance of Human Herpesvirus 6 and Human Papillomavirus in Patients with Cervical Cancer
Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of human herpesvirus type 6(HHV-6)and human papillomavirus(HPV)in patients with cervical cancer. Methods 86 patients with suspected cervical cancer were selected, and HHV-6 and HPV expressions were detected.Taking colposcopy pathological biopsy results as the gold standard, the consistency of HPV-DNA and HHV-6 DNA tests in the diagnosis of cervical cancer was analyzed. The diagnostic efficiency of HPV-DNA and HHV-6 DNA tests for cervical cancer was compared. Results 71 cases of 86 suspected cervical cancer patients were confirmed by colposcopy pathological biopsy.κ test analysis results showed that HPV-DNA and HHV-6 DNA in the diagnosis of cervical cancer had high consistency with colposcopy pathological biopsy results(P<0.05).No statistical difference was found in the sensitivity(91.55%vs.88.73%),specificity(86.67%vs.80.00%)and accuracy(90.70%vs.87.21%)between HPV-DNA and HHV-6 DNA tests in the diagnosis of cervical cancer(P>0.05).Conclusions HHV-6 and HPV are mostly positive expressions in cervical tissues of cervical cancer patients.HHV-6 and HPV tests in cervical cancer patients can improve the accuracy of disease screening.
