Impact of Family Centered Continuous Nursing on Prognosis of Elderly Patients Undergoing Cardiac Valve Replacement
Objective To explore the impact of family centered continuous nursing on prognosis of elderly patients undergoing cardiac valve replacement. Methods 80 elderly patients undergoing cardiac valve replacement in our hospital from October 2022 to January 2024 were selected and randomly divided into control group(routine continuous nursing)and observation group(family centered continuous nursing),with 40 cases in each group. The treatment compliance, quality of life and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment compliance of the observation group within 3 months after discharge was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).3 months after discharge, the scores of physical function, psychological function, and social function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.0%,significantly lower than the 20.0%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Family centered continuous nursing in elderly patients after cardiac valve replacement can improve the treatment compliance and quality of life, and reduce the risk of out-of-hospital complications.
