Impact of Multidisciplinary Collaborative Nursing on Complications and Quality of Life in Patients with Severe Pneumonia
Objective To explore the impact of multidisciplinary collaborative nursing on complications and quality of life in patients with severe pneumonia. Methods 94 patients with severe pneumonia admitted to our hospital from July 2021 to January 2024 were selected and randomly divided into control group(n=47,routine nursing)and observation group(n=47,multidisciplinary collaborative nursing). The respiratory function[oxygenation index(OI),rapid shallow breathing index(RSBI),respiratory rate(RR)],complications and quality of life score were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the OI of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the RSBI and RR were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 8.5%,lower than 25.5%in the control group(P<0.05).After nursing, the quality of life score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Multidisciplinary collaborative nursing can improve the respiratory function of patients with severe pneumonia, reduce the risk of complications, and improve the quality of life.
