Impact of Laparoscopic High-Position Cryptorchidism Descent on Testicular Function and Complications of Children
Objective To analyze the effect of laparoscopic high-position cryptorchidism descent in the treatment of children with high-position cryptorchidism. Methods 76 children with high-position cryptorchidism were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with traditional-approach high-position cryptorchidism descent, and the observation group was treated with laparoscopic high-position cryptorchidism descent. The surgical indicators, testicular function and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The surgical indicators of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).After surgery, the levels of T and LH in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the level of FSH and the incidence of complications were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Laparoscopic high-position cryptorchidism descent in the treatment of high-position cryptorchidism can significantly reduce the intraoperative and postoperative risks and improve the testicular function of children.
