Comparison on the Efficacy of Color Doppler Twinkling Artifact and Gray-Scale Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Urinary Calculi
Objective To compare the efficacy of color Doppler twinkling artifact and gray-scale ultrasound in the diagnosis of urinary calculi. Methods A total of 72 patients with suspected urinary calculi admitted to our hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected. All cases were examined by color Doppler ultrasound and multi-slice spiral CT.The diagnostic results of color Doppler twinkling artifact and gray-scale ultrasound were counted. With the result of multi-slice spiral CT examination as"gold standard",the diagnostic efficacy of the two ultrasound examination methods for urinary calculi was analyzed. Results Multi-slice spiral CT examination showed that 47 of the 72 patients with suspected urinary calculi were diagnosed with urinary calculi. The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of color Doppler twinkling artifact in the diagnosis of urinary calculi were higher than those of gray-scale ultrasound(P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with gray-scale ultrasound, color Doppler twinkling artifact is more effective in the diagnosis of urinary calculi, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
