Predictive Value of MPV,PLR and NLR in Peripheral Blood for the Prognosis of Patients with Advanced Colon Cancer
Objective To explore the predictive value of mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)in peripheral blood for the prognosis of patients with advanced colon cancer(CC).Methods A total of 68 patients with advanced CC treated with CapeOX chemotherapy regimen in our hospital from October 2018 to October 2021 were selected and divided into the death group(n=23)and the survival group(n=45)according to the prognosis at 1 year after chemotherapy. The MPV,PLR and NLR in peripheral blood before chemotherapy were compared between the two groups, and the predictive value of MPV,PLR and NLR in peripheral blood for the prognosis of patients with advanced CC was analyzed. Results The MPV,PLR and NLR in peripheral blood of the death group were significantly higher than those of the survival group(P<0.05).ROC curve showed that the A UC of combined prediction of peripheral blood MPV,PLR and NLR for the prognosis of patients with advanced CC was 0.879,significantly higher than that of single prediction of three indicators(P<0.05).Conclusions The combined prediction of peripheral blood MPV,PLR and NLR for the prognosis of patients with advanced CC has high value.
