Study on the Value of Color Doppler Ultrasound in the Differential Diagnosis of Benign and Malignant Thyroid Nodules
Objective To analyze the efficacy of color Doppler ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules. Methods 86 patients with thyroid nodules were examined by color Doppler ultrasound. The efficacy of color Doppler ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules was evaluated, and the ultrasound signs and hemodynamic parameters of benign and malignant thyroid nodules were compared. Results The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules were 89.04%,69.23%and 86.05%,respectively.Kappa test showed that the consistency of color Doppler ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules with the gold standard was moderate(Kappa value=0.517,P=0.000).The proportions of microcalcification, regular morphology, internal low echo and capsule of benign nodules were significantly lower than those of malignant nodules,PSV and RI were significantly lower than those of malignant nodules, and EDV was significantly higher than that of malignant nodules(P<0.05).Conclusions Color Doppler ultrasound has a good effect in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules, but it still needs to be combined with the patients'clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and other imaging indicators for comprehensive judgment.
