Impact of Different Radiotherapy Modes on Dosimetric Parameters and Tumor Marker Levels of Patients with Locally Ad-vanced Laryngeal Cancer
Objective To compare the effects of volumetric modulated arc therapy(VMAT)and helical tomotherapy(HT)in the treatment of locally advanced laryngeal cancer. Methods 82 patients with locally advanced laryngeal cancer were randomly divided into the reference group(VMAT treatment)and the study group(HT treatment). The dosimetric parameters and tumor marker levels of the two groups were compared. Results The D2,D50 and HI of GTV and PTV in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, the CI were higher than those in the reference group, and the serum CA125,CA19-9 and CEA levels after treatment were lower than those in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with VMAT,HT in the treatment of patients with locally advanced laryngeal cancer has better conformal and uniformity of GTV and PTV radiotherapy drug dose, lower use of dose, and lower levels of tumor markers.
