Isolation,Identification and Environmental Tolerance of Geobacillus thermoglucosidasius from Odorous Milk Powder
In order to investigate whether the odorous milk powder was contaminated by thermophilic bacillus,it was first heated in boiling water at 100℃for 10min,and then six heat-resistant isolates were acquired by isolation, purification and morphological observation. All isolates were identified as Geobacillus thermoglucosidasius, and their heat and acid tolerance were studied. The results exhibited that all spores of isolates except HP3 were 100%killed by heat treatment at 118℃for 10min.All isolates could grow well at pH≥4.5,while most strains were inhibited at pH≤3.5,and only HP3 could grow slowly at pH2.5.The vaporized hydrogen peroxide disinfection device could completely kill the isolate HP3 with better environmental tolerance inoculated on steel plates at different positions in the space, with a sterilization efficiency of up to 6lg.The results offered a reference basis for effectively preventing and controlling the contamination of G.thermoglucosidasius in the workshop for milk powder production.
