Stability failure analysis and design optimization of expansion joint of high temperature flue gas pipeline
For the stability failure of bellows expansion joint in the regenerated flue gas pipeline of a methanol to olefin(MTO)plant,the influences of pipeline support arrangement and the varying operating conditions on the stability of expansion joint were analyzed.Combined with the calculation of pipeline thermal displacement and blind plate force,it proves that the selection and reasonable arrangement of pipeline support are the key to ensure the safe and effective operation of the expansion joint.At the same time,the application scheme and treatment measures of the expansion joint were put forward,which provides experience for the application and failure prevention of expansion joint under similar working conditions.
