Research Progress of CT Texture Analysis Technology in the Differential Diagnosis of Benign and Malignant in Isolated Pulmonary Nodules
Lung cancer is a common and fatal malignancy, and the detection of solitary pulmonary nodule(SPN)on CT scans in the early stages of the disease is one of its main features.Early detection and diagnosis of pulmonary nodules is critical for optimal clinical treatment, however distinguishing benign and malignant nodules using conventional CT imaging is often challenging.Although CT is still the most commonly used diagnostic tool in clinical practice, its ability to identify SPN morphological features is limited, and some nodules are still difficult to diagnose qualitatively.CT texture analysis(CTTA)is an emerging image post-processing technique that provides a new method for distinguishing benign and malignant SPN by quantitatively extracting texture feature parameters in lesions. This paper summarized the research progress on the diagnostic potential of CTTA in identifying benign and malignant SPN,aims to provide some reference value for the diagnosis of benign and malignant SPN.
