Development and Application of Intelligent Medicine Cabinet for Large Volume Parenteral in Ward
Objective To independently develop intelligent medicine cabinet for large volume parenteral in ward and discuss its advantages in application.Methods Through field research and Delphi method,the functional requirements of the management of intelligent medicine cabinet for large volume parenteral on storage,early warning,information interconnection and quality control were established.Taking the medicine management standard as the research and development guide,the overall structure of the system and the interconnection of multiple information subsystems were built.The intelligent management system of large volume parenteral in ward was constructed by applying the Internet of Things technology,electronic information technology and field bus technology.The intelligent equipment and software system were efficiently integrated,and functions such as human-computer interaction,data transmission,background management and report viewing were provided.Results After the application of intelligent medicine cabinet,the account compliance rate,access accuracy rate of large volume parenteral were significantly improved(P<0.001),while the medicine return rate was significantly reduced(P<0.001).The time spent by nurses on the daily placement and monthly inventory of large volume parenteral of transfusion was significantly reduced(P<0.001),and nurse satisfaction was significantly improved(P<0.001).Conclusion Integrating modern information technology into drug management can realize the scientific allocation of the quantity of large volume parenteral,orderly and standardized storage,simple and convenient validity management,and intelligent and efficient checking.It also optimizes relevant procedures such as taking medicine and replenishing medicine,charging and refund,improves the information management level and medicine safety level of large volume parenteral,and improves the working efficiency and the satisfaction degree of the nurses.
